  7. The Corollary 8/tctp+ is a terminal concentrator particularly suited for
  8. Point-of-Sale supporting RS-232, RS-423 and RS-422 peripherals. The 8/tctp+
  9. attaches to any Corollary host adapter via a single high-speed RS-422
  10. connection, providing intelligent I/O handling for either serial lines. Two
  11. indicator lights for each serial line are located on the front of the unit
  12. providing information, such as carrier detect and received data, associated
  13. with the terminals, printers or modems connected to the serial ports.

  15. The 8/tctp+ terminal concentrator features, up to 2600 feet between the host
  16. system and 8/tctp+unit,15 pin D-shell connectors and an onboard Z80 CPU that
  17. implements local software flow control. The 8/tctp+ RS-423 signals supported
  18. include: DSR, DTR, DCD, CTS, and RTS.
